What was even happening
Just ultimate shovelware. Was just unexplainable. "Time Travel is Dangerous" falls short due to its confusing plot and lack of character development. The film attempts to juggle complex time travel concepts but fails to explain them clearly, leaving viewers lost. The pacing is uneven, with long stretches of exposition and rushed action scenes. The characters are one-dimensional, lacking depth or motivation, which makes it hard to care about their fates. Overall, the film's incoherent narrative and weak performances prevent it from being a compelling time-travel story. Literally please don't make me watch this again.
Lots of fun!
What a great film! It's done in such a charming way, the lower budget vibes actually add to the overall enjoyment. So good to an original and fun movie being made in this era of mega budgets or nothing!!
It reminds me of 'Grabbers' and "Sightseers' in it's very Britishness sense of humor and delivery.
The characters were lots of fun, good comic timing and leaning into the irreverence of the script. The plot takes some interesting directions which you might not expect and the special effects were done well, especially for a lower budget film. Some recognizable faces pop in here and there which is nice.
Highly recommend to go watch this at the movies for something which will have a smile on your face as you walk out.

Might have to travel back in time to find the comedy that was missing from this movie...
Not knowing what I was in for here, aside from "Time Travel is Dangerous" being a comedy, I opted to watch the movie, as I had the chance to do so here in 2025.
Writers Chris Reading, Anna-Elizabeth Shakespeare, Hillary Shakespeare and Ruth Syratt put together a script and storyline that fell short of entertaining me. For a comedy, I have to say that "Time Travel is Dangerous" was frightfully devoid of anything funny. In fact, I found the narrative in the movie to be somewhat of a swing and a miss, as the storyline was bland and mundane.
There were two familiar performers on the cast list for me, and that was Stephen Fry and Brian Blessed. The acting performance in the movie were fair.
This is not a movie that I would recommend you to sit down and spend 99 minutes on watching. Nor is it a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.
My rating of director Chris Reading's 2024 movie "Time Travel is Dangerous" lands on a rather generous three out of ten stars.

Budget brit 'comedy'
This would make a decent program to insert into any childrens tv slot. Or for any adults who make a deliberate point of staying in touch with their inner child. I am all for those whimsically offbeat British comedies, oozing with self aware silliness and nostalgic village idiot types, as long as there is some underlaying worthwhile message put across with a few laughs . But this misses the mark in every respect. No laughs, no characters to care about, no action, no point.
To be fair, that's based on the opening 30 minutes, which is as much as I could bear. One third the running time, so one third the score, 3/10.

Not a single laugh
They've collected a lot of 'names' here to entice people to watch this, but its really quite undeserving of anyone's attention.
It's bereft of any humour, not particularly clever, and just not entertaining in any manner IMHO.
The television production standards don't really help its cause. No it's not 'charming' it's just rubbish.
My guess is that this is a kind of cheap, British pastiche of Spinal Tap with its looseness and rambling dialogue etc. But it really misses the mark by an astonishing margin, with a muddled plot and general lack of ideas, 'writing' and direction.
As someone who even thought 'Sex Lives of the Potato Men' was tolerable, I really have nothing positive to say about 'Time Travel Is Dangerous' with the exception of throwing some praise in the direction of Ruth Syratt, who for an essentially unknown actress shows potential for future, hopefully better projects.
