In 2004, Joseph Bertolozzi recorded the sounds of the Mid-Hudson Bridge in New York State using those sounds to compose Bridge Music, making the bridge the largest percussion instrument in the world.

Beautiful music, beautiful story, beautifully told.

The film tells story of how Joseph Bertolozzi, an organist from upstate New York, got an idea to play Mid-Hudson Bridge as a musical instrument. I loved, loved the whole story and the way Andrew Porter told it! 
One night, Joseph&#39;s wife jokingly pretended she hit a poster of Eiffel Tower, as she was playing it as a gong. Eiffel Tower being too out of the way at the time, Joseph decided to use a local bridge instead. 
Andrew Porter takes us on a journey from the moment when Joseph&#39;s wife sparked the idea, followed by Joseph&#39;s excitement and determination to execute it, and finally through the whole process of playing and recording a monumental bridge as an instrument. 
I really loved the inspirational part of the film. One man with an idea managed to create something so big, so beautiful and so spectacular. Amazing!
