I found out about my little goat when I saw "look at me only".
Never heard of the original tale, tho it has a little red riding hood feel (one with the stones ending). The animation was very impressive with how it used a mix of different materials, mainly the wool on the goats, which I think was clever.
The one was very well done, not too horror focused, tho it did give off some pedobear vibes.
The wolf himself i was confused as AGAIN since I not read the tale I didn't understand what they might imply, mainly with the mother goat.
I still highly recommend giving it your 11 mins despite the confused ending I had.

For a short film, I feel like there's a lot going on here. My Little Goat (don't love the title - maybe it's an awkward translation?) is very much one thing and then something else entirely at the same time. It cuts between a fantasy and a reality, blurring the line between the two constantly and having different sorts of horrors found within both worlds. Call it a pint-sized Pan's Labyrinth, if you will, as that film's so effective because both the fantasy and the real world run in parallel and prove oppressive and grim for different reasons.
I feel unnerved by My Little Goat, which is, I'm sure, the point, but I also feel a little confused. Maybe it's more being overwhelmed, but at the end of it all, I do still admire what it's going for and appreciate how much thematic ground it covers in just 10 minutes.

This Stop-motion is one of the best Stop-motion I ever seen. The plot , the music, the characters design , the weirdcore vibe are all very good. This is one of my favorite all the time 💖
