Mama Fairy and the woodcutter had a weak start. It kind of got better, but the story got tiring soon and the ending was an awful mess. The CGI were really bad, and they lowered the quality of the scenes that they were added. The story was okay, but the ending was really bad and the final conclusion not an actual conclusion. However, the performances were good, though the leading lady was kind of annoying, and at least they got out of the second lead trop. So, four out of ten.

A 699 year-old fairy waiting for her woodcutter husband to reincarnate-its synopsis says, but the story was far better than this synopsis. It was a light, quirky, fun and very heartwarming drama that you thought you won't expect too much, but as you head towards the end, you will realize that this drama is beautiful with so many LIFE messages of a friendship bonded by the realest meaning of love more than romance, brotherhood, family and-of redemption.
Cons:
It's too long. Wish it could've been shorter, less episodes
I knew who the real husband would be from the first episode, so it got frustrating at times when Ok Nam still can't figure it out. But in the latter episodes, it would be explained why it had to be this way.
Much more than a romantic love story, it's also about friendship, love and bond between children and their parents, and how clinging on to the past holds us back from moving on, seeing the full picture and living our best life.
Yes the cgi is cartoonish but I think it's part of the charm. They add some lightness to the whole series that has a bit heavy back story.
My favorite was the relationship between Joem Soon and Geum. They formed such great bond. Love seeing her really lean on him, and Geum providing that support and caring she needed.
Seo Ji Hoon really tugged my heart, seeing the sadness in his eyes everytime she sees Ok Nam and Professor together. But still he had such great admiration for Professor.
It is such a heart-warming story. The last episode is all feel good. It's really nice to see everyone get their redemption.
