Fallout was one of the most successful new shows of 2024, a funny, scary, post-apocalyptic epic based on the long-running Fallout video game series from Bethesda. The second season is filming right now. That probably means we won't see it until 2026, which is likely later than a lot of fans want, but according to star Walton Goggins (the Ghoul), it'll be worth the wait.

“We’re in the middle of filming it right now, we’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought Season 1 was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it,” Goggins told Deadline. “This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It’s really gonna be something. I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.”

Speaking to Deadline at the red carpet premiere of The White Lotus Season 3, The Righteous Gemstones alum promised a bigger and better Season 2.

IndieWire can announce that the irreverent late-night comedy is launching an official call for submissions to bring Irl tales to the screen.

A new 30-second TV spot for James Gunn’s Superman was released yesterday, showing off some fresh footage from the highly anticipated movie. However, the final shot of the teaser has come under fire. In it, Superman does a barrel roll as he avoids some rocks, with the camera focusing on the character’s face as he flies towards us. Some feel that it looks a little “goofy” and have blamed the lack of facial movement on poor VFX, but Gunn has defended the shot on Threads.

Discovery will reveal the latest look at one of their most anticipated movies of the year during the Puppy Bowl instead. THR reports that a special sneak preview of Superman will debut during the Puppy Bowl, with James Gunn set to appear with his dog Ozu, who was the inspiration for Krypto. The Pitt is an upcoming medical drama series created by R. Scott Gemmill. The Max series is set in the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital, and it follows the medical staff during their 15-hour emergency room shift. The Pitt stars Noah Wyle, Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez, and Katherine Lanasa.

Two years ago, Universal Pictures teamed with producers David Leitch and Kelly McCormick of 87North Productions and director Tommy Wirkola to bring us the highly entertaining, R-rated holiday thriller Violent Night (read our 8/10 review at This Link)… and now, Violent Night 2 appears to be heading toward production. Star David Harbour was spotted with the script in his hand earlier this month, and during an interview with Collider, screenwriters Patrick Casey and Josh Miller assured that they know what fans are hoping to see in the sequel.

The highly anticipated teaser trailer for James Gunn’s Superman was released yesterday, and judging by how much it’s been watched and dissected in the last 24 hours, the new Dcu is off to a good start. In fact, the teaser trailer broke a big record for Warner Bros. and DC as Gunn took to social media to announce that it has been viewed over 250 million times.

“Krypto really did take us home: With over 250 million views and a million social posts, Superman is officially the most viewed and the most talked about trailer in the history of both DC and Warner Bros,” Gunn wrote. “This is because of all of you: thank you! “Superman” is heading to screens faster than a speeding bullet and it appears that there will be a lot of famous characters dropping in.

Kicking off DC’s revamped slate and directed by James Gunn, the film is set to hit screens in Summer 2025, and finally has a first look trailer. It follows Superman (David Corenswet) as he tries to balance his alien Kryptonian background with his human upbringing. Along with directing, Gunn also wrote the script, using characters originally created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Written/directed by DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn and due to swoop into theaters on July 11, 2025, Superman (fka Superman: Legacy) stars David Corenswet (of TV’s The Politician and Lady in the Lake) as the titular Kal-El aka Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent. Warner Bros. has let it be known that the teaser trailer for director James Gunn’s Superman will be dropping online tomorrow, Thursday, December 19th… but to give a little sample of what the teaser has in store for us, today Warner Bros. and Gunn have unveiled a teaser for the teaser that features a good bit of footage, and you can check it out in the embed above.

As fans wait with bated breath for the Superman trailer, which is due to drop online tomorrow, James Gunn is teasing a little bit about what influenced him during the making of this movie. A lot is riding on this first official entry in the Dcu as the movie will set the tone for the rebooted universe after Zack Snyder’s take with Man of Steel similarly kicked off the Dceu with a more divisive perception than Marvel Studios’ beginning. We’ve been anxiously awaiting the first trailer for James Gunn’s Superman, and that wait is finally over. This morning, Warner Bros released the film’s official key art and also revealed that the full trailer will be dropping on Thursday, December 19. Here’s the official tease:

DC Studios also recently dropped a pair of release dates for some upcoming projects. First up will be the Clayface movie, which is being scripted by Mike Flanagan.

Plenty of comedy stars have popped in for a cameo when their old sitcom costars get a new gig — think Cheers’ Ted Danson visiting the original Frasier or most of the Community cast stopping by Ken Jeong’s Dr. Ken. But some sitcom stars have such amazing chemistry that they need to keep a good thing going.

1 Danny McBride and Walton Goggins

McBride and Goggins headlined Vice Principals as competing a-holes vying to rule the school via promotion to the top job. When McBride went on to create The Righteous Gemstones for HBO, he again enlisted Goggins as a failed child star who once headlined a gospel song-and-dance team. Goggins told Conan O’Brien that McBride “is the funniest person I have ever met in my life.” The two even teamed to desecrate the reputations of Ronald McDonald and the Hamburglar.

Earlier this year, James Gunn suggested that Superman wouldn’t need any reshoots, but it appears the cameras will be rolling once again. THR’s Heat Vision Newsletter states that “the movie will be doing a few days of additional shooting in Los Angeles in the near term” after recent test screenings.

For a film as big as Superman, a few extra days of reshoots are pretty minor, unlike some other comic-book movies I could mention. When Gunn was asked about possible Superman reshoots this summer, he said he’s “done a total of one day of reshoots on my past two films combined.“

I’m looking forward to seeing more from the film; hopefully, we may even see the first teaser trailer by the end of the year.
