I won't judge this type of films, because in this type of drama (it's not a comedy by a long shot) nothing is objective. Good acting. Dog well trained. However if you suffer, or have a loved one suffering from cancer or I would not recommend watching this film.

A simple story about friendship, fatherhood, relations, job, a cake package of a theater boss, a dog and ...cancer. Short, a film of viewer because it is the kind of film easy to be seen from different perspectives. I see it as a beautiful film. For the fair collaboration between Marco Giallini and Valerio Mastandrea , for the dialogue, for the end. And, no doubt, especially for the dog. A film about last period of life. About way to live in delicate but precise the time , about the reactions of the others and about the manner to remain yourself. All in Italian way. So, I know, I repeat, a beautiful film.
