According to the actor Gaku Oshida, his portrayal of Geiz is inspired by many rival Riders of past series such as Kamen Rider Sasword and Kamen Rider Kaixa. He reveals that he relates more to them than the primary Riders.
According to producer Shinichiro Shirakura, it was particularly difficult to cast a young man who can properly portray the man character Sougo's kingly aura. He mentioned that the actor So Okuno was eventually chosen out of everyone else auditioning due to his unique outlook of the world, and considered it an act of fate.
The actor Gaku Oshida feels honored that people revere him to bear a resemblance to Ren Akiyama/Kamen Rider Knight. He met actor Satoshi Matsuda for the first time during the filming of Rider Time: Kamen Rider Ryuki.
The Actor Keisuke Watanabe was auditioned for the role of Sougo Tokiwa, but ultimately dropped out due him not resonating with the character. The producers later called him back to set and cast him in the role of Woz.
