Direction: There were huge expectations from debutant director Prashant Singh as he is coming with some new concept. However he failed to maintain the momentum in the second half. First half was somewhat better and entertaining one.

Performances: "Hasee toh Phasee" famed jodi paired as Jabariya jodi this time. Both were good in their characters till first half. In second half, they lost the track. Some great performances by supporting star cast. Javed Jaffrey did good job as Hukun Dev Singh. Sanjay Mishra was good in the role of Duniya Lal. Aparshakti Khurana did another good supporting role as Santosh AKA Sanno.

Script: Sanjeev K jha came from Bihari background so he want to use local issue of Groom kidnaping as central idea of his script. Topic wise script was good in chunks, not as whole. After interval, script was running in rounds and round look like you will get the flavor of daily soap.

Music: Again creativity issue with music section as lack of originality. Two old superhit songs "Khadke Glassy" and "Zila Hilela" reprised by various music directors and singers.

Box-Office: On opening day it has earned 3.15 crores. On 2nd day, slight jump due to weekend and it has earned 4.25 crores. Life time collection will be in the range of 30-35 crores based on how word of mouth will impact footfall.

Last words: If you have watched all recent released movies, i can recommend this movie to overcome boredom.

We left the movie hall in between. This jabariya jodi is unbearable. Dont go by fake reviews, not even a one time watch.

It's a cliche movie. Siddhartha can't act and Parineeti just acts like she did in first movie. Not so comedy, no plot only same old romance.

Balaji Motion Pictures has a winner on hands, yet again! Although it rides on Bollywood cliches but provides plenty of laugh and thus, entertains big time with top notch acts (Siddharth Malhotra & Parineeti Chopra).

The best part about Jabariya Jodi is that it succeeds in bringing the house down. Sanjeev K Jha's screenplay, who also hails from Bihar, entwines both humour and emotions in a subtly efficacious way with Raaj Shaandilyaa's side-splitting dialogues provide non-stop laughter and non-stop entertainment. Kudos!

Brilliant is the word for the additional screenplay & dialogues by Neeraj Singh. For the comical & emotional scenes, the massy dialogues compliment the mood very well. For a debutant director, Prashant Singh, to keep the audiences hooked from start to finish is Estimable! WOW!

Vishal Sinha's cinematography (Perfect), Dev Rao Jadhav's editing (Crisp), Rajat Poddar's production design (Realistically beautiful), Joel Crasto's background score (Dramatic) and Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra & Sachet-Parampara's music uplift the theme and mood of the film.

Chandan Roy Sanyal and Aparshakti Khurana don't give you an impression that they're acting and stand shoulder to shoulder with the lead actors. Virtuoso! Sanjay Mishra is a respected gem of an actor! Jaaved Jaaferi looks macho. Fantastic! Mohit Baghel is quite funny and steals the show.

Siddharth Malhotra suits the part perfectly. He's the soul of Jabariya Jodi. His Abhay looks totally convincing. Parineeti Chopra's Babli is tailor-made for her and she shines throughout with amazing confidence. Neeraj Sood, Sheeba Chadha & Gopal Dutt deserved more screen time.

To sum up, Jabariya Jodi is a laugh-riot & an entertainer all the way, targeted at the hardcore masses. What really works for the film is its massive star cast and also the skilled performances by each and every member. Go watch it!

Your eyes will bleed, worst film of the year, this was my bad luck I watched this movie with my family in theatre

A massy entertainer with a good social message! Lovely chemistry between Sidharth Pari! Sidharth portrayed bahubali of Patna really well with so much perfection! Loved the dialogues they are fresh , connecting, funny and hilarious Amazing work by Supporting cast Sanjay Mishra Javed Jaferi and friends of Sid Pari Loved Jabariya Jodi!

Oh boy, I was waiting to get out of the hall. It's a bad movie, does not even fit the category of good time pass. Thank god for good looking eye candy Siddharth with the stuble and expressive eyes. Parineeti is such a great actress , but this movie is really bad. She really needs a make over. The burgandy hair color, misfitting clothes and loud clumsy kajal made her look very very poor. She needs to fix her outlook. It was horrible in this movie. So, don't waste time and money on this movie. Watch it when Amazon or Netflix will streem it!

After hasee toh phasee sid and pari came back with this bakwas film!! I was very excited to watch jabariya jodi but it turned out to be very disappointing!!

I really petty those who have reviewed and rated this title with 10 stars. They really need to consult doctors. This movie is so bad even a trash can is not sufficient. The acting by both Siddharth and parineeta is pathetic. There's no logic in the script and movie just starts and goes haywire. it's a perfect way of wasting couple of hours. Definitely not recommended.

Weak screenplay as well as weak story. Parineeti needs a better wardrob. All the clothes were so loose . So nasty to watch

Jabariya Jodi (Forcible Matrimony) dilly-dallies with its plot that should have taken 30 minutes to convey its message about the implausibility and failure of forced marriages that happen in the state of Bihar in India. And it is the dull, back-and-forth love drama between the lead pair that actually annoys you even if you are interested in the main theme. And save for the lead single, the overall music, and the on-the-face advertisements for Dr. Morepen, Gas-O-Fast, and Maanyavar, nothing sticks in this lost opportunity of a film. TN.

Boring, too slow, felt like I was there for 4 hours! Will probably be the worst movie of sid... he really needs to choose good scripts. No doubt his a good actor but acting won't define you if the story is not good. Everything needs to be an all rounder to entertain audience.

Film is 15 mins lengthy i think though it is the best work of sid malhotra .. I think he is very underrated actor.. he can do much more if given right script like dear comrade

Jabariya jodi serms to be made jabariya, same cliche old story with a new name. Side actors are much better than main. I might be a good one if it must have been created with planning and focus.

Lock your brain in the freezer if you are looking forward to a good time watching this movie. If your purpose is "time pass laughter", then the first half has some good jokes. In the second half, the laughter dose is significantly reduced which makes the viewer question "Why am I even watching this?". Unfortunately, I sat through and it was as bad as I anticipated. The cliché ending left me with a distasteful and regretful for wasting my time. Director's efforts of making the heroine an eye candy seemed ludicrous for a Bihari setting where the movie is shot. The acting is super bad as the protagonists have absolutely no Bihari accent. Siddharth Malhotra speaking like a sophisticated businessman dressed in a mawali costume looks absolutely dumb. I would rate this -10/10, but due to IMDB restrictions, this rightfully deserves a 1/10.

The movie is not made seriously. During Holi song also Parineeti is seen blue eyeLiners fully make-up done. She may not that even in Holi parties.

Nothing matches and invokes emotions from you. Emotional scenes are half baked.

Other issue was of fake pick-up of accent. It didn't look natural.

Other could have rated 6 or 7 for an average storyline.

An average movie nothing good nothing bad.Based on good premises but could not take advantage.Aparskhati is totally wasted.Dialogues whatever shown on the trailler ,nothing more.Music is not good,action is ok story is good but screenplay is bad.overall an average movie.

There should be laws in the Indian Judicial System for Captial Punishment for people who direct and act in such a Horribly awful film... I feel like echoing Phoebe's lines "MY EYES.. MY EYES!!!!!"

After hasee toh phasee was really excited to watch Pari and Sid together but all in vain. Utter disappointment.
