Unfortunately after watching this movie it turned out that this is very similar to some other films that I watched recently. The plot is just boring and full of meaningless actions, reason of displaying which is not apparent. The final scene is rather confusing and incomplete, so after the end you are left with some feeling of dissatisfaction.
This movie was a huge waste of an 1 hour and 30 minutes. The idea behind the movie was great, although how the directors and producers approached this one was horrendous. The whole movie I thought I was watching some old family video tape. Do better.

"Bone Cage" is a remarkably powerful Indie film. Brilliantly acted and superbly directed, you can add to the list wonderful cinematography that takes you into the heart of rural Nova Scotia. Based upon an award winning play, this film delivers exactly what Indie film fans love; an honest, authentic presentation of life in a world that rarely makes it to the screen.
I don't understand some of the hate in these reviews. If you don't like films about Real Life in rural towns and the struggles that they face, then stick to the Hollywood stuff.

Bone Cage is a poetic tour de force. Through discomfort and hope, Olson boldly challenges toxic masculinity, and rural living. One of my favourites of 2020 that will surely land with the masses once more widely available.
Bone Cage is a searing and emotionally driven indie drama superbly directed and performed by Taylor Olson. Poetic and visually striking I urge you track down Bone Cage and experience it for yourself!
