Horrible Acting

Great plot and good intentions but the bad actors and actress tanked this movie. After 10 min I shut it down. The close ups on people's mouths and the colors omg.... not every scene had a 90s look.

Nice Sound track

The acting is terrible but not unusual for a low budget film. The black detective does a pretty good job with his role. The woman that plays the lead actress's mom is a believable character. The plot seems to lack clear direction of story line it was trying to convey but it was entertaining. The era of the time was very authentic and the soundtrack is really dope. If anyone can find out how to find the list of songs on this soundtrack please let me know.

I really enjoyed it

Yes, they are bad actors but I can honestly say look pass that and take this in because what is going on in this movie is still happening as I type this. Mothers not trying to be mothers and teenagers not trying to grow out the hood to be a successful human being in this crazy world. So, I give credit to all that put this movie together.
