Like her character, lead actress Julie De Bona was actually pregnant during filming, giving birth to her first child a little over two months after shooting wrapped. As the film's subject matter had made her paranoid of having her child exchanged, she requested that the baby never leave her sight in the hospital and tasked her partner with doing the same.
