The film has no moral message that has meaning. There are no lessons to be learned from this film, no original story of why it was stranded, very bad text script, too stiff acting, too flat story, too boring to spend hours with this low budget film. Very sorry and not worth watching. Too many uncensored porn scenes.

I wouldn't call Mounir troubled, for someone who had lost his family alongside his house he is surprisingly sane, the scenes are just breathtaking, performance is done well by most of the cast.
It is nice to watch especially if you know or have ever met a refugee in your life and would like to know what kinds of horrible things they go through going to a country with completely different culture, the final parts of the movie however showed that they weren't expecting to end it so everything had to be wrapped up, and it was done in a way that stole the charm of the movie away, sadly,
would recommend to watch, just watch out for that ending, it will catch you off guard.

The film is really beautiful and with a clear message behind it. Do not go by what people have written in the reviews, it is only prejudices against foreign refugees that make the film have been voted down. The film builds up slowly and does not deserve to be judged until you have seen the whole thing until the end. Credible actors and good script!

Beautifully-filmed, Ghabe charts the challenges of a Syrian family in a refuge in the Syrian countryside trying to obtain permanent residence. The focus is on the troubled son and his attempts to form a relationship. Strong performances by all
This movie, thanks to the cameramen and director who clearly are pure artists made these magical landscapes and scenery even more magical!
Rare to see such quality of pictures.
The story, however, is sad but unfortunately realistic.
Immigration and ignorance are such big problems.
Very beautiful, fantastic, emotional, and sad movie.
Worth watching every second of it.

This is the true mental impact of war that leaves a scar for the life-time.
I can imagine how many children lost their parents in front of their eyes and I believe they all go through this or worse than this. The movie was able to portrayed that part nicely.
The ending was sad in this case as their are lots of success stories as well.
