Lackluster story and the acting...I mean I know we don't run to lifetime for Oscar worthy story or performances, but I do t understand how there can't be better acting. Just skip it.

Some of the most comically poor acting I have ever seen. They all seem way out of their depth. Its not aided by some quite annoying incidental music.

This movie is so bad. The acting really was awful , in fact it was'nt really acting, more like standing around and delivering not very good lines !!!!
I mean , Kathy the heart surgeon, turned private detective was so unconvincing as a recently widowed mother, daughter April equally as bad .
And as for the rest of the cast, it just got worse !
And I may be wrong but I dont think the irritating background music stopped once, maybe they were hoping it would drown out the bad dialogue !
And as for the ending , it was like a school play !!!!
To sum it up in one word " Terrible "

Dreadful movie bad acting especially from Ed with the little top knot in his hair & the (actress) and I use that term loosely, with the long red hair very unconvincing, then the teenage girl and boy, plot was awful...
The movie and plot were pretty good. Jennie was superb as usual. Luca did pretty good as well, guess that makes sense with her pedigree. But wow that red head was horrible I felt like she ruined the whole movie and should have been recast!!
This movie had me in stitches with how terrible the acting is. Worst part is, I've looked up the actors and they're cast in another 40 movies. How?!

Subpar movie, with actors so bad they had me watching the first minutes thinking it was a parody movie. Music seems picked from talent shows, and is together with the oversaturated colors makes the whole thing look like a cheap commercial. Screenwriting looks like it's been done by a naive 16yo, plot looked boring as hell too. Really an AI could make a better movie than this. It's not even trashy to the point of being funny, it's just supermarket frozen food. Would avoid even spending more words on how bad this film is, if it wasn't for the minimum requested characters for a review on this site.

I love LMN TV movies. Sometimes they're actually quite good but most of the time I say the cheesier the better. I like to have them on while I work because they're inconsequential and the 2hr run times help me adhere to a schedule, so I can focus on working and have some background noise on. Yes sometimes I get sucked in to watching them when there's a twist or when it's 'so bad it's good' and you can't look away. But this? This is none of that. It's just genuinely terrible. The acting is so awful that they should have paid to have been in this movie instead of the other way around. The music is uneven and confusing (another reason LMN is usually good for a workday- the music all has the same kind of soft yet ominous vibe). They picked the worst stock music and sound effects. And as for appearance it looks like someone schmeared vaseline on the camera lens. Though it doesn't matter much since the actors don't really emote or have many facial expressions. Listen this is just genuinely a waste of time, Jennie Garth's character doesn't even care what happens. Do yourself a favor and skip this.
