a presumed answer

I saw this short film with high reserves. The theme is one of the most delicate , especially if you are Christian and homosexual . Mat Hayes offers a decent answer. Not the best, maybe not the expected one and, in essence, only a nice packed compromised. But he can propose only a sort of encouragement, the film having the gift to kick the viewer to his personal answer, profound subjective one but the only reasonable, in fact.

Sure, a gay couple - one Jew, another Christia ( ex- Baptist ), parents of a little girl, the contribution, at different ages of a nurse, a female pastor and a psychanalist to reconciliation with himself of main character are good ingredients for a nice story. But the story is only a patchwork crafted by different pieces. So, problem of taste. But, nice try.

Could these people be more vehement God-Haters....

This is an embarrassment to entertainment. All those who wrote, produced, etc., this movie need help.... Could these people be more vehement God-Haters.... Find something better to do with your time and talents.

attempt of compromise

For me, it is a tempt , not bad , in essence, to reconciliate the gaz life with Christian status. After Fiducia Supplicans, to see Cognitive becomes a provocative gesture. But, is it works ? Not exactly.

The story of David about this fact speaks . About stigma , about reaction of child feeling be different by others, about reactions around him and support. The problem can be only the subjectivity of the answer .Mat Hayes proposes a solution but it is not very convincing, seems fragile and expression of improvisation or polite reaction.

But Cognitive has a precious gift - it reminds the fight of Christian gay to be a real Christian. Maybe the solutions of two priests are not the best but the solution, the real solution can be only the pray.
