With fewer colors, you might come to understand some important things. '
If you were given the chance to use magic, what will you do? Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara, aka The World in Colors, is truly a beautiful show on the levels of Violet Evergarden and some films as well.
Story / Character -9 Set in a world sixty years from now, people living in the future have been utilizing magic to ease up their life. However, our female protagonist Hitomi hates magic. The beautiful colors everyone sees turns monochrome for her, nothing enlightens her and she seems to have no friends. Her grandmother, Kohaku, knowing well of Hitomi's situation, decides to send her sixty years back to meet her younger self, in hopes of helping Hitomi to overcome the situation. After some strange interactions, Hitomi finds herself in a stranger's house, and escapes from it. A few encounters later she starts making friends and has found her grandmother and even her great grandmother, albeit at that time they might as well just be their sister and mother. However strangely enough, she notices she has dropped her important azurite, an equipment (?) from the future, and sets out to look for it. Coincidentally, it was dropped on the stranger's house, whom she found was drawing. As she approaches him, she saw colors that she has never seen for ages starting to come in life surrounding her. But when Yuito, the stranger himself stops her, the world goes back to monochromatic. With all these being said, this original story has a lot going for it at this point, the world building and the characters are very likable, and what enhances it by a LARGE MARGIN would be the art that im going to talk about next.
Art -9 PA Works just outdone themselves, this show looks literally like cocaine but for your eyes. The background art is literally one of the best you can find in anime, the usage of colors and some indeed very unique camera angle really makes this show stand out from the rest this season. Character animations are very fluid and looks natural. Absolutely one of the best looking anime overall.
Sound -10 As much as I want to give more credits to the voice acting on this show, what really steals the show is the OST, Opening and Ending. From the first episode I was already blown away from the soundtrack. The OST used are almost certainly beautiful, just as the show itself is. And as aforementioned, the OP/ED really isnt something I cant find myself ever skipping on, not only they look good, which Ive already strongly emphasized, but the song itself is, too, very impressive, especially the ED by Nagi Yanagi.
Overall -8 If you are still wondering what you should be watching for this season, this show has got you covered good. With an interesting premise this show I have really high hopes for, and I personally can see this show ending with a lot of ninjas cutting onions behind the scenes. As someone who draws, this show is like a godsend for those who appreciates art. By all means, I really hope this show gets to more people with this humble review as I feel as of now this show is seemingly unappreciated.

I cried yes, I'm not a huge fan of romance but by the end I felt like my heart was split into a million pieces. It's the first time I've ever felt like that. Now many may hate the ending but it was very realistic so I see no problem with it. If you want to feel heartbroken I recommend it or if you just like animes with vibrant colors I also recommend it. The colors in this anime were astonishing, there were parts where I felt as if the anime was real or at least 3D. The characters were also great, very likable! I still feel heartbroken, not sure this is what a heartbreak feels like but it hurts a lot so Im guessing it is. I'm still crying if I'm being honest... Thank you!
I never thought I would like this anime so much. It is truly amazing. The plot itself is unique. It's same, yet a little different. It's different, yet somewhat same. The animation is top class and the story is just marvelous. There are some sweet moments and some heartbreaking ones. An amazing Slice of life with a mixture of Fiction.

The story is just fine with some twist and Japanese School with the some mages, that actually exists here.
But still there is not much magic shows in the anime. It revolve around the school student and the relationship that glow something. I mean you have figure it out.
Still the magic sequence are truly amassing you have to love the artwork there. I provide the reason to watch this anime. It end is good without big and disrupted magic. That feel little empty as now every anime which involve magic has something strong bit here it do harm but here is positive feel in it. So not bad.

There's so many potential in this anime, but the studio waste it. The story for me is simple not confusing like their previous work "Glasslip". I am fine with storyline but one thing I don't like it's character development.
There's 7 character, but there's only two character that I really like Kohaku and Hitomi. The rest all of them is boring and annoying to me. Beside visual, I really love this music from the BGM, opening song and ending song. It make me cry believe it or not.
When I watch first two eipsodes I like it that make me want to watch more. But eventually it gets boring. Then when only 3 last episode, the story is getting better. It's predictable but it's really sad especially the last episode. I wish there's more romance in this anime.
Irozuku directed by the same person who directed one of best anime to me 'Nagi no Asukara'. But unfortunately is not the same writer.
(sorry for my english)

I've never really been into romance until recently when I saw this series. It literally made me cry - Yes, you read it right, I CRIED! It is definitely my favorite series that I have watched in 2023. I was addicted to this series - I finished it so fast that I had to rewatch it since the series only has 13 episodes. I definitely would recommend this amazing show as I haven't watched such an amazing show for a long time. I was really disappointed when I realized that there is only one series. Episode 11 had such a nice ending that I really enjoyed. Definitely would recommend to anyone who enjoys anime, drama and mythical powers.

If you like Hayo Miyazakis work and or Steins gate you should watch this and the other way around as well.
It has a wide range of feelings while telling a story of self doubt, anxiety, friendship, love and magic.
If that sounds to weird or to serious just check it out and build your own opinion.
I don't want to drop any spoilers.
The artwork is top noch.
So just grab a cup of tea, make a nest of pillows and blankets and watch an episode or two.
