Apart from Alina Ilea (Selfie 69), Madalina Ghitescu-Petre (Marilena from P7 and 4 months, 3 weeks, 2 days) and Laurentiu Plesa (Afterparty), the film is a debut for every other cast member.
Based on the Royal Television Society nominated short film Casa din copac (2016).
The production was split in two: 6 days in spring for the flashbacks and 16 days in the summer for the present time scenes.
William Ashmore and Jan Nova are first time actors.
Bogdan Fanariu and Laurentiu Plesa take on the same characters as in Casa din copac (2016 short)
