Fans got an unexpected treat when stunt coordinator George Cottle revealed on social media that Harry Holland, younger brother of Spider-Man star Tom Holland, had cameoed in the record-breaking R-rated blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine.

In a behind-the-scenes photo posted to his Instagram, Cottle praised then-19-year-old Holland for suiting up as Deadpool for the film’s stunt sequences. “It may not [be] the Holland the world wanted, but it was the Holland we all needed!” Cottle captioned the post.

The revelation came as a shock to lead star Ryan Reynolds, who voiced his surprise on his Instagram Story. “This is how I find out?!? You tell me?” Reynolds wrote, suggesting he was unaware of Harry Holland’s role on set.

After Deadpool & Wolverine stunt coordinator George Cottle shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Tom Holland‘s younger brother Harry Holland in a Deadpool costume while performing on the movie, the Golden Globe nominee reacted to the discovery on his Instagram Story.

“When @slevydirect and @vancityreynolds set the bar so f’ing high, even the stunt team needed a special guest star!!” wrote Cottle. “It may not [be] the Holland the wold wanted, but it was the Holland we all needed!! @harryholland64 you smashed it my friend! #haroldpool”

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are uniting with Marvel Studios once again to helm the next superhero team-up feature. On Saturday evening, they made their return official by taking the stage at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H to thunderous applause.

“When we directed ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ we really believed it was the end for us in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” said Joe Russo to the crowd. “That four-movie run was incredible, and it left us creatively spent.” However, in the time since, the duo found a “very special story” that convinced them to come back. In fact, “it’s the biggest story that Marvel comics ever told. It’s the reason that Anthony and I are standing up here.

Marvel’s lengthy search for the directors of its next two “Avengers” movies might have finally reached its endgame.

The Hollywood Reporter and Variety say that Joe and Anthony Russo have entered talks with the studio to direct the next two films in the franchise. Marvel had previously announced that the studio’s Phase 6 slate of films would end with the movies “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” in 2026 and “Avengers: Secret Wars” in 2027. The former film was supposed to focus on Jonathan Majors’ villainous character Kang the Conqueror, who appeared in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and five episodes of “Loki” and was being positioned as the primary antagonist in subsequent story arcs. Marvel parted ways with Majors following the guilty verdict in his assault and harassment trial in December 2023, but has yet to comment on whether the role will be recast or if the next “Avengers” film will still be titled “The Kang Dynasty.

The Russo Bros. are in early talks to return to Marvel Studios to direct not just one, but the next two Avengers movies, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Agbo, the Russo Brothers’ media company, has launched an innovation department, expanding its physical and virtual production capabilities under the guidance of a seasoned executive team.

Under the new setup, Agbo’s technology experts will build proprietary creative tools, with the aim of fostering production innovation and cost efficiencies. The idea is for Agbo and its creative partners to be able to access the company’s emerging set of tools at every stage of development, production, and post-production.

Innovation will have three verticals: production technology, immersive technology and creative. It will be led by Jake Aust, who was recently promoted to Agbo’s Chief Innovation Officer. Over a 20-year career, Aust has been a producer on The Office and Russo-affiliated titles like TV’s Community and feature film Cherry. He was also an executive producer on The Gray Man and most recently served as Agbo’s President of Physical Production.
