The Golden Trailer Awards, which honor the best trailers in movie and TV/streaming marketing, awarded Paramount’s A Quiet Place: Part II its marquee Best of Show honor Thursday night during a ceremony in Greenville, Tn.
The awards, founded and run by sisters Evelyn Brady-Watters and Monica Brady, returned after pausing for a year because of the Covid pandemic, with last night’s ceremony honoring campaigns and the companies behind them culled from a widened eligibility window for content created between April 2019-April 2021.
That meant winners in the 16 categories revealed onstage included recent releases like Black Widow and F9 but also the likes of Joker, Uncut Gems, Queen & Slim and Jojo Rabbit, which also took honors last night at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center. There were also a slew of non-show category winners announced from Trashiest Trailer to the Don Lafontaine Award for Best Voice Over (see the full...

Megan Thee Stallion vamped it up in a gilded performance at the 2021 Grammy stage with a medley of “Body” and “Savage.”
On a Roaring Twenties-themed set, the Houston rapper gave a glamorous performance of her hits “Body” and “Savage.” “Body” was brief before Thee Stallion launched into a dance-heavy take on her first Number One hit “Savage.” She performed the Beyoncé remix version of the single without her hero, instead showing off her dance skills as Beyonce’s parts played behind her.

Sf Studios is teaming up with “Easy Money” screenwriter Maria Karlsson on “The Stockholm Bloodbath,” an epic film
inspired by the true story of Kristina Gyllenstierna, a fearless woman who fought to protect Stockholm when the Danes invaded the city in 1520.
“The Stockholm Bloodbath” refers to a lesser-known, dark chapter in Scandinavian history when the three-day coronation ceremony for the Danish king Christian II became one of Sweden’s most violent power struggles. During this turmoil, the Danish king ordered the execution of many figures of the Swedish nobility.
Currently at script stage, “The Stockholm Bloodbath” will mark yet another big-budget, internationally-driven epic film on Sf Studios’s production and distribution slate. The Scandinavian powerhouse recently wrapped the productions of “Margrete – Queen of the North” and “The Emigrants,” two highly anticipated historical dramas which will be teased at Goteborg’s virtual Nordic Film Market. Both films will be released in...
