Of cute teenage drama movies is easy to make these days, because there are so many made on the bucketlist theme lately, but this film is not among them top ten. its a ''love'' lost story, where best friend dies and all thats left is their ''never list'' that displays their largest goals in life. so when the going gets tough the commemorative actions or pranks or whatever is let loose.
its a film that in many ways describes many a teenagers life, at school,at home, and when alone, a state only the 68'generation knows the real meaning of, considering facetime insta and tiktok social media time spent when the brain really hungers for peace and calm.
as a film product its the new wave fast shifting imagery and high speed editing that only multitaskers can take in, the cast shows lots of extreme beauty, and the main casts delivers very well, but where the camera motion and extreme close up panning in a way strangles you and makes the joy fade away within 30 minutes because its extremely tiring for a grumpy old man. the musical score do raise some of the negative glitches, so a listenin might be recommended.
but its a sad, gripping, but also a funny story from the junior high environment, so i will not tell people to stay away from it. its just a jungle out there to take from and the grumpy old man thinks this was a desperate try to hang on the trend. so go for it if you love it.

This was an ok movie. There were a couple good laughs but for the most part it was just alright. Acting was so-so and the story was predictable. Worth a rent but wouldn't buy.

This film is a family friendly story reflecting many aspects of the "human condition". From its depiction of unexpected tragedy, to teenage angst, to the stress and difficulty of parenting teens during this period of life, there is something here for everyone. I don't watch movies just to see something, but to feel something, and this one did just that.
Although it's not going to be nominated for Picture of the Year, go support the writer, director, cast and crew who all worked together to create this wholesome entertainment. Given the budget, the time allowed for filming, and the severe impact COVID 19 has had on the entertainment industry, as well as society as a whole, this film outperforms expectations.

Fivel Stewart is a star but this is not a well written or directed movie. Keiko Agena and Matt Corboy pull their weight against some bad writing but most of the supporting performances aren't good. So, if you are a Fivel fan, you'll be glad to see your girl, but she deserves better movies. High points for Fivel, low points for the production, balancing out at a 6 (fair) out of 10. {Teen drama}

Stewart as an actress has potential and the story also could have had some solid beats, but this is one of those indies where most of the scenes don't ring true for one reason or another. Either the acting is off, or the editing is not quite right, or the dialog seems forced, or the sound pickup has an echo .... overall very distracting.

I found this teenage drama to be extremely heart warming and relatable. It had me captivated, crying, and laughing from the beginning to end. I had the opportunity to watch it with my daughter and her friend and enjoyed our conversation on the way home comparing our high school experiences. I had never heard of these actors before and thought that they all did an excellent job. I'm hoping for a sequel so I can watch this cast together again. The theatre did an excellent job with social distancing protocol and we all felt totally safe. So nice to be back in a movie theatre and enjoy real movie theatre popcorn. I absolutely recommend seeing this movie!
