The director of this film Anurag Shetty seems to be one among the crop of upcoming movie makers which Bangalore seems to be producing of late. This is his third film as an amateur director although I can say with conviction that Mix-ups has a definite story line with an unanticipated cliffhanger. This practice of having an open ending is common practice among Hollywood directors. It leaves much to the viewer's imagination. Kudos to this young director for that.
The role of Samantha essayed by Samanvita Shetty and Rajendra enacted by Anurag Shetty himself have clearly stolen the show. It is a matter of pride that Bangalore boasts of such young talent. The actor who plays Rahul falls short of our expectations.
The background music by S.Saravanan deserves special mention. The music adds meaning to the scene in question which is indeed commendable.
Cinematography is good enough. The lighting in certain sequences is really good.
The concept of Mix-ups is something fresh and unseen in cinema history.
Dialogues overlap for a couple of minutes which is a loophole in the dubbing.
The opening scene sets the tone for the film.
Anurag Shetty needs to explore new genres for his future projects.
Dialogues are well written. Looking forward to more from this promising youngster.
