The mansion is really Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, BC. It was used in both movies.
The mural on the boy's bedroom wall at the beginning is of the same characters which come to life in the movie Separation (2021).
In the end credits, a man named Tom Cruise is credited as a chef. The film's star , Katie Holmes, was married to the actor Tom Cruise.
