I just discovered this show 2 days ago on YouTube. And before I knew it, I watched every single one! I am generally not a binge watcher and I always take care of the amount of time I spend in front of a screen of any kind (Cell, computer, TV) but for some reason I was intrigued with the show. I don't know if I saw all of the ones that were made, but I hope that they definitely are going to make more!
I love reality dating shows, so when I saw Eating with My Ex advertised on Binge I thought I would give one episode a chance. One lead into two and so on. I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into the lives of these ex's and seeing if they could find a way to continue or if they would part ways for good, but with some sort of resolution. I believe we can tend to look at past relationships with rose tinted glasses and hold onto the good bits, and actually the line why were broke up can become a bit blurry. This is definitely shown in this series, where an ex arranges to meet up with their ex to answer some questions and in some cases see what will happen next.
If you are pining for a lost love, or just love relationship drama this is worth checking out. I much prefer First Dates though.

This is a very carefully crafted show, yes it's cheap T.V. Yes it's another reality type show perhaps dwelling on the prurient details of people lives.
But I would say several aspects are encouraging and there is a normalisation of issues that are present in all relationships, gay, straight or convoluted.
It encourages good examples of how respect and equality are vital and how when things aren't working this can be unequally felt. One thing I am clear a betrayal of trust is the end.
The director and producer have done a fine job here behind the scenes and it is a riveting watch lol

Eating With My Ex Series 2
A really great show, to keep the format fresh and evolving the following observations occur to me, the way this is going it's all meat and no bones....lol
The most interesting couples to watch are those where there really are fundamental questions that prevent someone moving on.
Just putting a spotlight on primarily young people skews the programme and perhaps the conclusions are more ephemeral. Try and have a little more variety to provide greater insight into the human conditions.
Some of the couples can have been married.
Some of the couple may have children.
Encourage the introduction of evidence to really pin an act of mistrust down.
Lastly, being reconciled as a "good" conclusion to every couple is wrong, no no no, surprisingly happiness can be achieved by being single... shock horror!
With all this said the show is brilliant and very insightful.
