Subject is real, Director kept the treatment commercial though to reach maximum audiences that is understood as the subject is too serious. Liked few scenes between antagonist and protagonist on the stage. The senior actor like Vikram Gokhle exceeds the expectations and lead actor Amitriyan was equally good. Start is slow it takes time to connect with the plot and characters. Camera work is beautiful, editing could have been better. Overall different subject treated differently but definitely watchable due to actors involved and cinematography.

The story line describes the deep rooted corruption present in our society. How farmers have been exploited by politician and businessman nexus. To understand the story one has to know rural India. Its difficult for the one who lived is entire life in urban areas, Its a serious subject and i think item numbers and all the unnecessary glamour was not required. Rest everything was good.

The story in brief -
Shivaji is a farmer by profession hailing from a village in Maharashtra.
Frustrated with the corruption & constant exploitation of farmers for political gains, he decides to challenge the corrupt system and bring in better reforms for the benefit of the farmers.
The story is good but it's implementation lacks quality in all areas - acting, cinematography, direction, dialogues, et al. Very amateurish. Not worth the time.
