Well, I decided to sit down to watch the 2020 movie "Hell's Bells" despite of the rather low rating that the movie had managed to procure here on IMDb. Sometimes a movie might actually be bad enough that it actually turns out to be enjoyable and fun to watch.
"Hell's Bells" wasn't one such movie. Nay, this movie was just, hands down, bad.
The storyline might have seen well enough on paper, but it translated so poorly to the screen. And believe you me, this was no sweet experience to sit through. The movie was, in fact, so boring that I just gave up on it. I didn't even finish the movie, and I have absolutely no interest in returning to watch the rest.
The acting in the movie was dubious at best. But hey, that was as expected for a movie such as this. So no big surprise there, really. Needless to say that there aren't any familiar faces on the screen.
Sometimes you just have to stop and wonder how movies such as this actually manage to get off of the writing board and onto the screen. Even more so, wonder whom actually funds these things. But hey, hats off for writers and directors Jim O'Rear and Scott Tepperman for managing to get something like this onto the screen. It wasn't an entertaining movie, sure, but they accomplished something.
"Hell's Bells" is a boring and awful movie. And I can't recommend anyone to waste their time, effort or money on watching this. My rating of the 2020 movie "Hell's Bells" is a mere two out of ten stars.
