The beginning was hard to get into. A bit slow, but overall as the movie progresses and you truly see what is actually taking place it gets better. This was a truly original piece but some of the characters (in the band mostly) were a bit annoying and hard to relate to since they came off a bit cringy. It is why it takes my review for the movie down a couple stars. I would say give it a watch to form your own opinion on this movie and who knows maybe you'll like it. I don't dislike the movie but there could've been more done to make it better, but the overall story was well written but I will say this that the main character saying "super" a lot was a bit much.

What an abysmal everything. For a movie that is centered around a band, why was the music sooo bad? The entire film looked part like a movie, mostly like a set from a late 90's television show, with splashes of color seemingly at random thrown around every scene.
If you can call it this, the "acting" was atrocious. I swear almost every actor is either a friend of the director or pulled from a mall crowd of onlookers. Not even, "I'll be in anything with a paycheck" Eric Roberts could save this mess with his brief cameo. Robert Picardo looked like he forgot to turn the gas off somewhere during his screen time. The movie tries too hard to be Lynchian, but it's as if the director read Cliff Notes on who Lynch was and based a movie on that. Simply terrible.
