Ahaa Re, One of the best Bengali movie. Every artist acting was so good, specially Arifin Shuvoo proved his acting skill.

It basically a romantic tale about two poeple brought together by their love for cooking. Although the plot is simple but the emotive acting by Arifin Shuvoo (bangladesh) and measured acting of Rituparna in the role of Basundhara makes it a memorable watch. This movie interweave West Bengal and Bangladesh through food. Any bengali viewers can related to the movie more emotionally. Notably the film has a Indo Bangladesh casting justifying the plot. Interestingly It is one of the few movies made with food as a protagonist and has been choosen in "25 great Asian films about food".

Horrible movie, full of posturing & pop psychology. An examination of food from the two halves of Bengal & weaving a love story around it is probably what the director had in mind but the script is too ham handed & the brush strokes are too broad for it to leave any pleasurable taste in your mouth. Right ingredients, wrong combination.

This movie has the touch of common bengalis' life to the cultural conflict of two neighboring countries, all of the actors are so spontaneous in their acting this movie becomes the household story, I loved it!!!!
