Before filming the production, there were two other actors set to play David and Goliath. However, a week before the first day of filming, both actors dropped out of the production due to family conflicts, making Gabriel Garcia and Caden Ranger fill in the roles.
Most of the film was shot on January 2, 2019, at Pioneertown, CA. Since it was filmed in the middle of winter, the weather on the day of shooting had a wind chill of 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
