It took me a couple of episodes to get into this, but then I was hooked. I'm not a foodie - I can barely cook! - but the intoxicating combination of the food, music, colour and sheer emotion drew me right in and I never wanted to leave.
Highly recommended.

This is an exceptional example of European television. Complex and intelligent, makes you think all the time. We never learn the names of the two main characters and they are people with lots of secrets.
This series takes us through very popular places on Barcelona's culinary map - from hipster cafes to top restaurants. It's a feast for the eyes.
I loved hot this show portrayed getting to know each other and falling in love. It's not easy, it's not simple, especially if you're over 30. There are no big words or spectacles, but you see how these people grow more and more fond of each other. What's so special is that they push each other to be better, to say more and open up.
The finale is heartbreaking for many reasons but it's worth the wait.

I expected a shallow romantic comedy but got so much more. I'm really sad it is over.

I can't discribe how much love i have for this tv-show.
I Watched it almost a month ago and i am thinking of watching it again. If i could only pursue everyone to watch this- believe me i would.
Its a show about love, for me. Yes there is food but in a art kind of way which is the most perfect way in combination with the story. First of all- the actors! They are incredible! Each on its own and like a couple they are perfect! I am in love with both of them and already watched every other movie they acted in.
Second- the love story. For me- its so deep, so complex, dialectic and perplexed- even if it doesn't look that way. They way the story goes with all its realness its the thing that catched my eye; most of all- the little dialogues in their mind.
I must say i was a little dissapointed about the end but not becouse of the way it was but becouse it didn't last longer.
I will probably watch this tv-show again and very soon only just to feel in love and have a smile on my face during it.

It's a mixture between images of delicious looking food, good soundtrack and that awkward thing of two strangers getting to know each other. It shouldn't be anything special considering the plot - yeah it's a love story, however the internal dialogue scenes and overall the camera work gives it uniqueness for sure. Please, give us a second season.

Every second of this show is pure gold. The acting is perfect, the characters couldn't have been written any better. You will feel everything you need to feel. It is just like a perfect meal, it has everything, the colors are fascinating, the story is great, but the best parts are the narrated ones. It will make you happy, sad or anxious. It is a mixture of sweet, sour and salty in a coating of perfect screenplay.
This tv show is a bit of a let down. I was expecting far more than this stuff. There is no chemistry between the lovely Laia and the Argentinian actor. There's nine whatsoever. The script and dialogues are dull and boring and that's why they're no chemistry between the characters.
Besides, there are side characters that you don't care about so what's the point in all of that. Really is a shame because I was expecting something else indeed. A hit and miss this TV show. And the worst things are the pop up stuff that let you think what the characters say that's utterly nonsense really. What's a waste.

I was thinking how I could best describe Foodie love, especially since I don't want to give any spoilers but still.., I just had to say something about it because this show kept me, from beginning to the end with a smile on my face and on the edge of the seat/bed, although it's nor action, nor a mystery as genre.
It felt like a mouth of fresh air, like the one you take when you finally get the chance to take of the mask given the pandemic circumstances ;)
Watching it, living it struck me with quite a few adjectives like: moody, dreamlike, blurry, uncertain, unexpected, annoying, smart, witty, clumsy, human, gourmand, delicious, sexy, complicated, frightening, brave, satisfying, dark, hot, goofy, delightful, groovy..., and a yummy soundtrack.
From someone who loves "The Secretary".

I'm so in love with this tv show that I keep watching it over and over again. The acting, the chemistry between them, the colors, the food, the music... as I said it's like falling in love. I wish we could see more of it.

Totally didn't expect that!
The chemistry between the actors is absolutely on point . A perfectly written and told story. The music, the light and the food is everything! They are the supporting characters in this journey!
Very very well done!

The story intensifies with each episode. It's basically a poem - romantic, sexy, sad, cute and intense. Gets you young again. As previously said in the reviews, i didn't expect it to be that good.

I didn't expect the series to be that good. The script, music, atmosphere and acting are incredible.
A wonderful walk through the beginning of a love between two people as well as their love to the food.

I really didn't expect to like this series so much. I quickly got drawn into their courting and relationship. Very much appreciated the trajectory of the episodes. I wish there were more!

Can I watch this if I'm in the United States? If so, how?
Sounds like a great series! And I've adored Laia Costa in her other roles.
