Two old Philadelphia newspapers are seen being read in the film, The (Morning) PUBLIC LEDGER (1845-1934) and THE EVENING PUBLIC LEDGER (1914-1942).
At one point, to cover up for the source of his new car, Piper (Sterling) lies and says it came from his Uncle named Stich, which was Ford Sterling's real surname.
Lois Wilson, who plays Amy Fisher in this film, played Clara Harling in the 1934 remake.
Aubrey's $500 fine in 1926 is equivalent to about $8,900 in 2024.
