In the course of the escalating tiff on the street between Stan and Ollie, there are multiple instances of Ollie punching Stan in the stomach, followed by Stan kicking Ollie in the shins. After a few of these, tactics change to ripping handkerchiefs, removing or shredding ties, etc. After the latter takes place, the handkerchief and tie are seen lying on the ground. Then, a couple of shots are inserted of more stomach punching and shin kicking, which were actually shot earlier and show the boys' ties and handkerchiefs still intact.
Stan throws Ollie's French horn into the road, and when Ollie goes after it, it can be seen there's no handkerchief in his breast pocket. By the time he gets back on the pavement, a handkerchief has appeared.
The band conductor's medals suddenly change from the left side of his tunic to the right. This might be a case of the negative being printed in reverse.
On the first street corner, the same woman extra walks out twice from the same store.
When Stan and Ollie are punching and kicking each other, Ollie tears Stan's handkerchief, Stan takes Ollie's and puts it in his pocket. They throw each other's hats on the ground, and Ollie mistakenly jumps on his own. After putting their hats back on, Stan unbuttons his jacket, then it's fastened again. Ollie's hat is now intact, and his handkerchief is back in his breast pocket. They punch and kick each other a couple of times, then a closeup of Ollie shows him in his battered bowler, and he attacks Stan's waistcoat under his now-unbuttoned-again jacket.
Ollie steps into an open manhole but ends up head downwards.
