This is the first Czechoslovakian movie with a nude scene.
The crux of the plot halfway follows Alexander Pushkin's "The Stationmaster" (also made into several movies).
The silent film was intended to be shown with a music accompaniment, probably to be played by an orchestra or a record player, and the composer is credited on the opening titles.
