Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View continues to yield illuminating intel about Lucasfilm’s famed galaxy far, far away.
Just yesterday, for instance, never-before-seen story details relating to Obi-Wan Kenobi and, more specifically, how his close relationship Qui-Gon Jinn continued beyond death led many to assume that Liam Nesson’s Jedi Master will crop up for an appearance in Lucasfilm’s planned Star Wars anthology film – not unlike how Alec Guinness’ Force ghost guided Luke through the closing stages of both Empire and Jedi all those years ago.
Another chapter included in From a Certain Point of View, “Added Muscle,” is all about Boba Fett, the galaxy’s most famous bounty hunter. Penned by Paul Dini, this particular vignette sheds new light on Jabba’s high-ranking mercenary, all the while providing some context to Darth Vader’s “no disintegrations” order from Empire Strikes Back. Los Angeles -- From around 1910 to the late 1920s, the silent film industry dominated Los Angeles. The movies were filmed everywhere, from Hollywood to bustling downtown to what was then a nearly barren valley area, on the other side of the Hollywood Hills. Without permits, unions or worries about sound, filmmakers could just grab a camera and shoot scenes on the spot, transforming various L.A. locales into any place the script called for. Fortunately, many of the locations where exteriors were filmed during the silent film era still exist today, and you can find them hidden around the city like historic gems.
