After jumping overboard and swimming, as Jean is climbing the rope up the side of the barge, he is (expectedly) dripping wet. The scene cuts and he is on board approaching Le père Jules and Le gosse from behind, and he has wet clothes, but no water dripping from them or his hair.
When Le père Jules is circling his finger on the record and hearing music (that Le gosse is playing on the accordion), he is going in the wrong direction. He is tracing in a clockwise direction, but a turntable spins in a clockwise direction, so the needle travels counter-clockwise around the record.
