Bernard Lee made his screen debut in this film where you actually see him doing some acting. Before his role as 'M' in the James Bond films, he varied his voice and played a lot of working class characters. No wonder he wasn't noticeable before 'Dr. No'. He didn't always play the upper class Englishman.
