One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Boston Wednesday 29 October 1958 on WBZ (Channel 4); it first aired in Seattle 25 May 1959 on KIRO (Channel 7) and in Denver Friday 26 June 1959 on KBTV (Channel 9).
Sam Coslow wrote the song "In the Middle of a Kiss" in 35 minutes before a circle of friends at a party in response to a challenge that he couldn't write a usable song in one hour. The song was later used in the Paramount movie College Scandal (1935).
