"Mickey's Fire Brigade" from 1935 is the second time Mickey is a Firefighter and the first in color, his first time being a Firefighter along with Horace Horsecollar was in "The Firefighters" from 1930, where he was tasked with rescuing Minnie Mouse.
A costume based of Mickey wearing the Firefighter helmet from "Mickey's Fire Brigade" from 1935 can be unlocked and worn in the 2012 video game "Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two".
"Mickey's Fire Brigade" from 1935 is the first Cartoon in color featuring the trio of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy and the second overall. It also is notable that this Cartoon is the second and last featuring the trio in their old character design, it also is the only one in color.
