John Mayer may not “have a cool-enough thought” about his top rank on Katy Perry‘s lovers list — but admits he tuned into his ex-girlfriend’s Witness livestream anyway.

John Mayer isn’t worried about playing it cool! The 40-year-old musician appeared on Monday night’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen where he freely opened up about his ex, Katy Perry.
Mayer even admitted that he watched part of the “Swish Swish” singer’s 96-hour livestream last summer.
“Yeah, I did. I think you’d have to watch all 96 hours to get the final verdict,” he said, when asked what he thought of it. “That’s her thing, man, to go big and bold. It’s definitely odd to watch your ex-girlfriend sleep.”
When Cohen commended him for being so honest about watching, Mayer added, “The way I see things now, I call it stand in the middle of the boat. If someone says, ‘I don’t watch that.’ It’s like, yes, you do.”

There’s less than a month to go now until the release of Wonder Woman, but Warner Bros. has already revealed soundtrack details for the highly anticipated movie. As if so often the case, there are some possible spoilers sprinkled throughout here, but for the most part, the listing offers just a vague outline of how things will play out.
As expected, the action will quickly move from Themyscira to the battlefields of World War I and the mention of Ares around the halfway mark of the soundtrack points to him showing up sooner than the final act. Beyond that, these titles don’t make it too easy to figure out what’s to come, but it’s hard not to wonder if “Trafalgar Celebration” is an indication that Wonder Woman will be getting a happy ending rather than just having the hero go into hiding once the war ends.

The zeitgeist of one of the 80s more insane buddy cop flicks.
Buddy cop movies are plentiful to be sure, in fact, when The Hidden was released in 1987, it wasn’t even the biggest buddy cop flick of the year. Ironically, The Hidden costar Michael Nouri turned down the role of Detective Martin Riggs in Lethal Weapon to star in this sci-fi actioner about an alien inhabiting the bodies of various law-abiding citizens and using their bodies as vessels to engage in brazen crime sprees.
If that synopsis doesn’t grab you, then you really should start evaluating your cinematic perspectives. To those of you who hear that logline and immediately begin prepping your The Hidden/I Come in Peace double feature, bravo. You’ll probably glean a lot from this week’s episode of the Junkfood Cinema podcast.

Just when you think the vampire craze is over, someone inevitably creates a new piece of media to keep the hype train running. Though, to be fair to I Want To Be Human, this is a vampire who opts for a shotgun instead of her teeth, and has a snarky, albeit adorable, hat for a boyfriend.
Why? I don’t know.
Smile Tech is trying to find the secret to eternal life, and the most comfortable hat. They also got around to banning romance at some point, and punished our smitten heroes by experimenting on them. The pair now seek revenge for their new forms, so they’ve joined together to take down the corporation and search for a cure. It’s a silly but fun premise shown through comic book-styled pages, and sets the tone for the title’s specific style of humour. Unfortunately, the story doesn’t go...

As of last night, "The Expanse" has officially premiered on Syfy, meaning that fans of the books written by James S.A. Corey and newcomers alike have the opportunity to discover this dense new world of political intrigue and hard sci-fi. In earlier installments of Indiewire's interview with "Expanse" executive producers Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby and Naren Shankar, conducted at the TCA 2015 Summer Press Tour (see below), we talked about the technology. We talked about their influences. This week, to wrap things up, we get into the really important stuff: the hat. Specifically, the hat worn by Detective Miller (Thomas Jane), offset by a very distinctive haircut that sets him apart as a character — as it turns out, by design. Part One: What Syfy's New Sci-Fi Gamble Learned From 'True Detective' Part Two: What It Means to Be Human, and Why 'Sci-Fi Ended With Ridley Scott' Part Three: How 'Game...

What's key to making this sort of advanced technology feel authentic? What's unusual about the make-up of the show's writing staff? How did "Game of Thrones" inspire them, in developing the first season? For A 1000 Lives
San Sebastian International Film Festival director José Luis Rebordinos has announced the festival's backing for the For A Thousand Lives: Be Human campaign, which was launched September 2. The campaign calls for people fleeing war, terror, or political persecution to be provided with legal means of receiving protection from the EU. It calls on EU countries to work in solidarity, repealing the Dublin convention that says refugees mus seek asylum in the first country they reach, and ensure better distribution of those in need between different nations. The emphasis mus be on showing respect and giving people the chance to work, study and rebuild their lives, it argues.
The campaign already has the support of over 5,000 film industry professionals, including Brits Daniel Craig, Jonathan Pryce, Ken Loach and Mike Leigh. Other big names involved include Isabella Rossellini, Michael Haneke, Bertrand Tavernier, Agnieszka Holland, Thomas Vinterberg and Michel Hazanavicius.

We learned a few weeks ago that Season 4 of "Being Human" would be its last, but its cast and crew have known for quite some time... and even asked for it! Series star Sam Witwer recently chatted with DweebCast, revealing that and a lot more.
During the course of his below video interview with host Andy Riesmeyer, Witwer explains how he and the rest of the cast have known of the approaching series end for more than a year and wishes the fans had been notified a bit earlier.
He also describes some of the financial reasons for the cancellation once Universal acquired the show and how the producers and actors are happy because they feel they get to end "Being Human" in the best way possible and on their terms.
When asked if the show might possibly be resurrected at some future date a la "Arrested Development," Witwer says absolutely not.

Syfy's version of UK hit "Being Human" gets better and better, and with Season 4 kicking off soon, we have some new promo photos, an update on which supporting characters are returning, and a look at what the roommates use when their wild nights come back to haunt them.
Since last summer's San Diego Comic-Con roundtable interviews, we've known that during the 13-episode Season 4 we'll be seeing returning guest stars Katharine Isabelle (Suzanna), Amy Aquino (Donna), Mark Pellegrino (Bishop), Kyle Schmid (Henry), Connor Price (Kenny), and Deanna Russo (Kat).
Included with the press materials that accompanied the "Roommate Survival Kit" that arrived at the DC offices over the weekend were two more names: Jesse Rath as Sally's brother, Robbie, and Sarah Allen as Rebecca, Aidan's tragic love interest in Season 1. (As an aside... Yay! This writer has been a big fan of Allen since the beginning.)

Episode 4.01, "Old Dog. New Tricks." airs on Monday, January 13th.
"Being Human" Season 4 opens with the roommates coping with Josh (Sam Huntington), who is permanently a wolf, although the full moon has a very different effect on him now, which drives Nora (Kristen Hager) to extremes in order to get her husband back.
Visitors from Aidan's (Sam Witwer) haunted past, including an elusive character bearing an uncanny likeness to his long lost wife, Suzanna (Katharine Isabelle), as well as his maker, Bishop (Mark Pellegrino), collide with the present; and Aidan is forced to make impossible decisions affecting those closest to him.

That made Fox feel comfortable sending work there, according to an individual with knowledge of the decision-making process. Also read: Will 'Chronicle' Star Michael B. Jordan Be Human Torch in 'Fantastic Four'? (Exclusive) This marks the first Marvel-based Fox film to shoot in Louisiana, after many of...
