Ida Lupino, originally cast in the role of Cheers Reynolds, was in the middle of filming when she came down with a nasty case of tonsillitis, which required surgery. It was only then that Eleanore Whitney was cast in Miss Lupino's role.
One of over 700 Paramount productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Charlotte NC Friday 16 October 1959 on WSOC (Channel 9).
