First appearance of Shemp Howard with The Three Stooges, and his last appearance with the group until he rejoined them in 1947.
Shemp, Larry and Moe (Harry) sing a song that the Three Stooges would reprise in many subsequent films, "You'll Never Know What Tears Are." This is the song's only performance with Shemp as part of the trio.
Even though Shemp Howard appeared in more feature films than any of the Stooges, he only made two with them. They were Shemp's first and last features: Soup to Nuts (1930) and Gold Raiders (1951).
