Jackie Cooper steps over Mary Ann Jackson's line in one scene.
Wheezer answers the phone while Dorthy divides a pile of candy between them. He tells her it's not enough, then tells Mr. Henderson on the phone to call later, as he's been instructed to say to callers. Henderson thinks both statements were for him, pertaining to a contract. The third time Mr. Henderson calls, Wheezer again says "T'aint enough, call later," but this time Dorthy and the candy aren't around for him to say "T'aint enough" to her.
At the end of the short, Oscar Apfel (Mr. Pennypacker) visibly grimaces before Wheezer hits him with the hammer.
Wheezer can't read Stymie's note, yet he reacts from seeming to read "fertilizer" on a sack.
