One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Seattle Wednesday 21 October 1959 on KIRO (Channel 7).
Love Among The Millionaires was the third Paramount film to feature Clara Bow performing musical numbers; it was also the second & final Clara Bow film where the same musical numbers were written to be part of the plot.
At one point in the film, Penny Whipple (Mitzi Green) utters this line to Clicker Watson, played by Stuart Erwin: "Clicker Watson, you're going to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing BUT the truth, you big palooka!" Interestingly enough, about 4 years later, Stuart Erwin was cast in the lead as Joe Palooka in the Pre-Code comedy film Palooka (1934).
A newspaper item from June, 1930, mentioned that 150 background actors, including up-and-coming Katherine DeMille, were hired to play upper-crust society people in one scene.
