In order to fit it into a one hour format (52 minutes of film, 8 minutes of commercials) Hollywood Service Television editors slashed out the first two reels. The resultant film (re-titled "Unforgotten Crime") was thereby incomprehensible, and, sadly, seems to be the only version which has since survived.
