Based on the real radio program "Reveille With Beverly" created by Jean Ruth on Denver radio station KFEL that ran from 1941 to 1944. The radio station first signed on in 1923 and retained those call letters until 1954. Miss Ruth appears in the movie's trailer. Her show was picked up by the Armed Forces Radio Network and was also recorded onto discs and distributed to combat zones around the world.
