Dr. George Grover drives Leslie Calvin to Rossignol in his car. As the car makes a left turn as it passes the camera it is clear that Leslie Calvin is driving the car, whereas in the following shot Dr. Grover is driving his car.
As Leslie Calvin enters the front porch area, Cleeve empties his pipe and places it in the breast pocket of his jacket with the bowl of the pipe protruding above the pocket line. Later on the tour of the plantation as Mr. Sydney passes by Cleeve, the pipe is gone, but in the next shot just seconds after Mr. Sydney has walked a few steps away, the pipe is again clearly visible.
At dinner, when Cleeve is first introduced to Leslie Calvin, he is seen standing up as he politely helps her take her seat at the table. A split-second later he is already seated himself, eating soup.
