- TriviaFun fact! Clips from this movie are shown every Christmas eve on Swedish state television in the animated short movie "Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton". These snippets have enjoyed cult status among fans of this classic as "a movie within a movie". "Karl-Bertil" is a a real gem by the way, created by two geniuses: Per Åhlin and Tage Danielsson. This is the Swedish equivalent to the American classic "It's a Wonderful Life" from 1946, broadcast every Christmas in the US. A must-see - as well as the full-length movie version of 2021. And "Lilla Helgonet" is well worth a look as well.

'Lilla Helgonet' is hilarious and boasts great performances from all its cast. I think they must have had fun shooting it and it shows off in their acting, apparently Hildebrand also knew how to bring out the best in all of them. It's well worth watching, many times over...
