Janis Wilson, who plays Kate here, was quite a successful young actress who made a memorable screen debut as the object of Bette Davis' motherly attention in Now Voyager, then went on to play featured roles in half a dozen other 1940s films. She retired young, choosing to leave her film career behind her, and lived until 2003.
'Snafu (S.N.A.F.U.)' opened at the Hudson Theater on October 25, 1944 and ran for 158 performances.
