Here Cantinflas plays a bank cleaner along with his friend Carmelo : Daniel 'Chino' Herrera . Along the way Cantinflas woos a beautiful shopkeeper , Carmelita : Rosita Gónzalez , whom he promises will marry her . Then the Sochipan National Bank is robbed and they are accused of the robbery. A police officer locks them up in prison, but they finally manage to escape. They board a train and then arrive in the city, where they find a healthy gang of robbers who actually robbed the bank. But Cantinflas, thanks to his new hypnotic qualities, manages to turn the tables.
Cantinflas' agreeable show made in his first and better period , playing an unfortune cleaner , while flirting , solving problems , being wrongly framed for heist bank and eventually confronting criminals . Cantinflas gives a very sympathetic acting as a janitor in a large bank who's accused of pulling off a major heist and forced to become a fugitive while hunting for the real culprits.
