When he gets home, his sweetheart is also wearing totally contemporary 1938 fashions, even though there are no paved streets, and people still use oil lamps and ride in horse and buggies. Is this Brigadoon?
Clothes and other elements set this in the 1930s, but Rhodes is released from prison after 18 months for robbing a stage. The last use of stagecoaches was around 1915, making the time of his crime impossible.
At 0:36:55 the boom mic shadow can be seen moving on the wall behind "Bob" and "Larry" as they duck down to the floor.
