Frank is wearing a wedding ring during different parts of the film despite his not being married.

The same location is used three times in the chase scene after the gas station hold up. The motorcycle cop, chasing Frank and Johnie, drives through a curve with a huge rock face on his right and woods on his left. Then Frank and Johnnie drive through that same location and appear once again at that same location when they turn off the road.

When Johnnie and Frank are driving in the stolen car early in the film, the bends and turns in the rear-projection highway don't match Johnnie's turns of the steering wheel.

At the 1:10 mark, after chapel when the convicts are returning to the cells one of the convicts on screen right slows, looks and pauses for the one on his right to catch up.

When Fred arrives at Sing Sing, a studio light, crew member's head, and the camera are visible in the car's partially rolled down window, then in the rear side window as it pulls away.

Though Johnnie and Frank were nabbed for the gas station hold-up because of finger prints, Fred's gun apparently never was dusted for prints, as it would have had prints of all three.

When Frank returns to his apartment after the pawn shop robbery, a moving shadow of the boom microphone is briefly visible on the door frame above his head.

At the 1:14 mark, when Frank Wilson and Johnny Stone are on the train the prison guard yells "Watson, Stone, can you hear me?" Instead of Wilson, Stone.
