One of over 700 Paramount productions, filmed between 1929-49, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Boston Saturday 8 November 1958 on WBZ (Channel 4); it first aired in Denver Monday 7 September 1959 on KBTV (Channel 9).
